🎬 Stream Credits

SheevChat can track memorable events throughout your stream and display them in an end-of-stream Credits overlay.

Credits can include followers, first-time visitors, subscribers, gifted subs, Twitch Bits, Kick KICKs, raids or hosts, YouTube members, Super Chats, TikTok gifts, and more.

Credits Settings

  1. Navigate to Bot Commands.
  2. Select the Credits tab.
  3. Enable Track credits.
  4. Enable the event types you want included in your credits.
  5. Click New Session when you want to begin a fresh credits roll for a new stream.

Credits persist if SheevChat closes during your stream.

Credits are added from confirmed platform events rather than inferred badges or ordinary chat text. Subscriber chat, reconnect replay, and unrelated notices should not create phantom entries.

For Twitch Prime subscriptions, SheevChat keeps the confirmed ordinary subscription record and suppresses the extra Prime-marked duplicate. Normal Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, resubscription, and gift events remain eligible.

The Current Roll Preview shows everything currently recorded. You can also:

  • Click Edit Credits to add, update, or remove entries.
  • Click Clear to empty the current session.
  • Click Undo Clear to restore the most recently cleared session.
  • Click Roll Credits to test or start the overlay.

Understand Cumulative Contributions

Repeated automatic contributions from the same platform, event type, and viewer are combined during the active session. Supported counts, monetary amounts, TikTok diamonds, raid viewers, occurrences, and gift details update on the existing Credits row and across active Credits displays.

The same visible name on another platform or under another event type remains a separate entry. Manually added Credits also remain separate so custom acknowledgements are not merged into provider totals.

Setting Up the Overlay

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Select the Overlays tab.
  3. Expand Credits Overlay.
  4. Choose a display mode:
  • Grouped organizes viewers by event type.
  • Timeline displays events in the order they occurred.
  1. Customize the title, font size, scroll time, background opacity, text color, and accent color.
  2. Choose whether to show platform names and event amounts or counts.
  3. Click Preview to test the appearance.

Adding the Overlay to OBS

  1. Copy the URL shown under Credits Overlay.
  2. In OBS, add a new Browser Source.
  3. Paste the Credits Overlay URL into the URL field.
  4. Set the browser source size to match your scene.
  5. Add the source to your ending scene and position it as needed.
Note: For a second-PC setup, select LAN / Second PC under Source Mode before copying the URL.

You can instead add a Credits widget in Overlay Builder when Credits should share a saved layout with other widgets.

Adding Roll Credits to SheevPad

  1. Open SheevPad and add a new button.
  2. Name the button Roll Credits.
  3. Add the Credits → Roll Credits action.
  4. Leave Credits mode set to Roll credits now.
  5. Click Save Button.

When your stream ends, click Roll Credits from either the Credits tab or the Credits Overlay section. Use Reset Overlay to return it to its starting position before rolling it again.

Roll Credits When a Twitch Raid Starts

Create an Automation using the Raid started trigger and add Credits → Roll Credits. It runs once after Twitch accepts a valid outgoing raid and provides raid target and viewer variables. Raid completion, cancellation, failed submissions, and incoming raids do not trigger this outgoing-raid workflow.
