🪙 Getting Started with Loyalty Points
Loyalty Points reward viewers for chatting, watching, and supporting your stream.
You can rename Points to match your community, such as credits, snacks, or trashbags.
Enabling Loyalty Points
- Navigate to Bot Commands.
- Select Loyalty.
- Enable Loyalty Currency.
- Expand Currency Name.
- Enter the name you want SheevChat to display.
- Review the message preview.
The name is used in commands, Giveaways, rewards, and {pointsName}.
Commands, Automations, Timers, and SheevPad can also use Utilities → Set loyalty name. This changes the displayed currency name everywhere without changing viewer balances or other earning settings.
Chat Activity Rewards
Expand Earn YourCurrency and configure:
Currency per message
How much a viewer earns for chatting.
Message interval
How long that viewer must wait before another message can earn currency.
5 currency per message
5-minute interval
A viewer can earn 5 currency from chat at most once every five minutes.
You can also set:
- First ever message bonus — awarded once in the viewer's lifetime.
- First daily message bonus — awarded once per day.
Use 0 to disable a reward.
Passive Viewing
Enable Passive Viewing to award currency for viewer presence.
- Twitch uses chatter presence.
- Other platforms use recent activity or
!lurk. - Currency is awarded in five-minute watchtime blocks.
The built-in !lurk and !unlurk commands must be enabled before lurker Points can be used.
To exclude bots, alternate accounts, or service accounts, go to:
Settings → Filters → Filtered Accounts
Enable the Points exclusion for those accounts.
Support and Event Rewards
SheevChat can award currency for monetary events using the Cents-to-currency multiplier.
1 = 1 cent awards 1 currency
2 = 1 cent awards 2 currency
This applies to Twitch Bits, Kick KICKs, gifted subscriptions, Super Chats, memberships, and TikTok gifts. The preview shows example awards.
You can also configure:
- Currency per raiding viewer on supported platforms
- Currency for individual Twitch Channel Point rewards
Connect Twitch and click Load Rewards to configure Channel Point rewards.
Supported Kick reward events can also award configured reward currency when SheevChat receives a matching reward ID. Twitch remains the platform used to load and configure rewards from this screen.
