  2. Select Automations.
  3. Click New.
  4. Enter a name such as Ad Break Announcement.
  5. Choose a category, or leave it Uncategorized.
  6. Set the Trigger to Ad Break.
  7. Leave Platform set to All (currently only Twitch supports ad break events).

Available Event Variables

VariableDescription
{duration}Length of the ad break in seconds.
{is_automatic}Whether the ad break was started automatically by Twitch.

Once saved, the automation will announce the start of an ad break, wait for the configured amount of time, then automatically welcome your viewers back.

Snooze an Ad When a Raid Arrives

Create an Incoming Raid Automation and set Only if next Twitch ad is within minutes from 1–180. Add Stream Platform Commands → Snooze upcoming Twitch ad before the raid welcome actions.

Use 0 to disable the condition. An enabled condition requires a fresh future Twitch ad schedule; missing, stale, errored, or already-started schedules do not match. Twitch must also report that an ad snooze is available.
